👤 About the role

This is a role responsible for building GoDutch’s direct sales engine to companies. You will define the sales strategy, personally close the first wave of customers, and lay the foundation for a high-performing sales team over time. You work closely with founders, marketing, product, and partnerships to turn GoDutch into the default business banking choice for fast-growing companies.

📈 What does success look like?

• Define and own the sales strategy by setting the ICP, sales motion, pricing, deal structures, targets, and forecasts. Determining when and how to scale the team.

• Lead by example in execution by personally selling to early scaleup customers, running inbound and outbound sales, closing complex and high-value deals, and building strong reference customers.

• Build a scalable sales machine by designing the sales funnel, stages, qualification criteria, CRM setup, reporting, and repeatable sales playbooks.

• Hire, coach, and scale a high-performing team by recruiting the right talent, onboarding effectively, setting incentives and commissions, and managing performance as the business grows.

• Drive strong cross-functional alignment by working closely with marketing on lead flow, partnering with product on objections and feedback, supporting partnerships and enterprise deals, and feeding insights back into the broader GTM strategy.
